Yeah, PS3 could play PS2 but was dropped due to cost, hopefully Nintendo doesn't have to burden that cost.

I feel Nintendo can install an emulator on the next Switch console to play older games instead of needing a more expensive CPU.

Would be nice, though Nintendo doesn't do emulation well.

I wonder if A.I. can convert older Switch and Wii U games to work on future Nintendo consoles, so emulation won't be necessary as much.

AI hasn't gotten to the part if can remaster stuff, it might one day but not yet.

I guest the next Switch version maybe a faster version of the Switch, and use a very similar CPU, so games would be backwards compatible.
