u can use it with google yahoo ask jeeves or msn search. It looks pretty nice, since it informs you if the site from the search list contains spyware or viruses.
Note: u should still have a antivirus and firewall installed to protect your comp from spyware and viruses.
i have to many defences for most forms of attack, so this would just eb more resources to waste and i suspect it would only work with IE and not IE addons like almighy avant
but there are 3 very simple steps you can take to prevent ever getting a virus over the net
disable activex, disable scripts, disable images
i do it all the teim so i can peruse sites with spyware bombers and the like

I find the search engine pretty good after using it a few times. Now i have a lesser chance of accidently visiring a porn, or violent site when im searching for stuff, or visiting a site with harmful spyware.

but wheres the fun in that, if you don't land on them sites, your paranoia levels will drop then you'll get dive bombed by the Spyware Squadron Wing 7, who will open fire with everything in there arsenal,
