Males prefer to play as females in online gaming?

The Associated Press writes: "In an informal survey conducted with 64 males, more than half [as compared with virtually no female gamers playing as males] said choosing a female character gave them a distinct gameplay advantage... 'They'd rather look at a character that looks like Lara Croft than a character that looks like Rambo.'"

Freeman Williams a dentist from Houston who plays City of Heroes as a female saying he voice acts "as much as [his] male voice will allow."

Interesting, I usually play as guy chracters in games. I sometimes use female chracters when im bored, but rarely.

oh lord. i can imagine a bunch of corss dressers on ro.. I still don't get what advantages a female character would have. Sure the company would make big bucks off it because the female character has a inflated chest.

^I think boys get free items and game money from desperate guys who think the cross-dressing boy is a hot girl on a online RPG like in reality.

Some hot girls have Suger daddies with lots of cash that buy them stuff to charm them.

oh hahha... I'm such a moocher on the ro server i play on. I'm married to the helper, and friends with the Gm ..free stuff lol.
