Will you be getting Vista?

Post by SetoTK »

When vista is released will you be consideirng upgrading to an even more invasive and useless version of windows or sticking with XP or another operating system?

i damn well know i'm gradually moving over to various versions of linux, ALL of which are much more secure, than windows, security experts beleive 200,000+ viruses are released for windows every year,

so thats 200,000+ viruses your protected from straight off

i probably upgrade to Vista. If there are some cool games, or software that require vista, but i probably wait till it's more stable, and a lot of its bugs are fix.

I probably get a new computer then i upgrade cuz my current computer probably run windows vista slowly since my comp kind of geting old 3-4 years old.

I think most people who buy a new computer in 2007-2008+ will get Windows Vista since a lot of the Big PC makers like Dell, Hp, Sony, Gateway, and other brands will most likely be installing Vista onto their comps. I just think most people just use whatever OS the computer comes with.

Plus, I dont know if it's that good of a idea upgrading to windows Vista. I heard it doesnt run good on slower comps.

actually a few of the bigger names in Pre built comps, will be offering linux,

i've heard rumors, Dell, Packard Bell, and a few others will be offering almighty linux

windows vista is expected to cost $120-200

linux is expected to cost $0 - $5

Vista requires 5-6x more than there min spec in some cases,
