A STUDENT'S response to his advertising class assignment may have proved a little too good.
Virginia Commonwealth University's Mike Lear gave the students an assignment to give his six year-old pug dog his 15 minutes of fame.
While most of the kids, with limited imaginations, stuck fliers around the school, one student appeared to have a better idea.
He went on Myspace and announced that the pug, called Oscar, would be killed online.
Animal activists and others around the globe called the university and the local police to report the threat. Richmond police issued an announcement that at no time was Oscar in any danger.
Although the student may have given Oscar his 15 minutes of fame, he is in deep do-do with the university. Apparently, the professor made it clear that the students could not harm or kill the dog or threaten to do so and the college is considering whether the student should be expelled.

I wonder if he get kicked out of school now. But, i think being expelled is the least of his concerns. Now he probably be branded a animal abuser by some, and have a bunch of animal rights protesters wanting to seak revenge for something he didn't do. I guest the prof. wouldn't want him to be near his dog now. If i owned a dog i probably wouldn't want him to look after my dog. Some people dont think about the consequences before they post awful things on their Myspace these days.
