Yes. I learned some British word from visiting British sites like : http://www.theinquirer.net/
http://www.theregister.co.uk/

I now know a Bloke is a man/guy, and a boffin is a scientist.

nope. i learn it from listening to pplz speak it a lot and music...sometimes
