Which browser do you use or recommend?

I currently use Firefox but my b/f love IE!

firefox is crap

i use Avant Browser avantbrowser.com same framework as IE, but much fast and more secure

Why is Firefox not good? I have heard really good things about it. I have never heard of the browser you mentioned.

The only thing firefox has going for it is it's standard compliant, and it's marginally more secure than ie,

Firefox has issues with JS handling always has always will,
the way it handles add ons is as far as i know still open to exploitation,

And it looks like some disgusting app that should be on a mac

Yes java script exploit on firefox is one of it's major issues.

I use Opera for the most part, Firefox, when I am rather limited on resources, IE7 when I am updating windows, and Konqueror when I am using Knoppix.
