I prefer they are free.

My teacher said Joomla is a good website builder and Filezilla is a good FTP client, but I never used them.

I prefer WinSCP for file transfers
it supports what i need, SFTP, FTP, SCP, Shell and a couple others

FTPSurfer - an easy to get a long with FTP client


Joomla, Takes some work though

Though can't advise as would need to know more of the requirements

Ah, just knock something up using tinymce, save it to a .html file, and use oscommerce (or similar) for the e-commerce bit
