If the price for Windows 7 is reasonable, is compatible with older hardware, software, and noticeably faster then XP Pro.

I think more people are concerned if it is a bigger improvement from Windows XP Pro.

I hope there won't be many versions of Win7 like Vista with Basic, Home Premium, Media Centre, 64 Bit edition, Buisness, Ultimate, etc.

I like that Windows XP only have 4 versions Home, Pro, Media Centre, and 64bit.

Linux distro only have 2 for some distro "Desktop and Server"

I don't get why Windows release so many versions of their products like MS Office there is Student, Regular, and Pro.
