What will the internet be like if every website had to pay royalties to the contents' owner?

The internet will be pretty boring if everyone was force to pay royalties before using content to the content creators (singers, RIAA, TV stations, authors, newspapers) since I notice most pictures on a lot of blogs and forums I visit came from commercial sites like Game Trailers, IGN, Gamespot, Nintendo, Sony, Sega, Korean Mags, BBC, MTV, and other sites.

I guest people will have to make their own content instead of pasting other people content to save time since making a review about a game you played is more time consuming then copying and pasting a review from IGN, or Gamespot.
