Google's Chrome OS a week away from launch

TechCrunch says that the software is gearing up for launch "within a week."

We probably won't see it available for all PCs. The Alpha build will likely only support a select few products that Google engineers have had a chance to work on like the Asus Eee PC netbook, which has generally the same specifications regardless of design or model number.
