Do you think the desktop computer ever go away?

Possibly in the very late future when every computer is super high tech and fast. But, I think computers which you plug into the wall will always exist since charging and replacing batteries is annoying.

I love to say no and never. but I have no idea how technology will advance (look what happened within 10 years). So I'm just going to say maybe.

I love to say No as well since replacing parts and fixing laptops can be hard since they are so small and use so many screws compared to Desktops.

I do see PC's becoming as small as a bulky laptop computer.

Indeed, I hope that PCs won't be like those Apple iMac Desktops where the monitor is built-in to the case since it means I can't replace the monitor easily or reuse my old one.

that would be annoying if you couldn't replace the PC screen.

With laptops becoming cheaper and more viable, I do see desktop computers phasing out soon. Laptops also tend to be more energy efficient. Laptops are DEFINITELY a better option for anybody who doesn't game in my opinion. Even most gamers would probably be able to find laptops to suit them.
