
Bassist J. Yoon of MC the Max was released from his military duties on December 9 in Seoul.J. Yoon served as a public service officer since his enlistment in September 2009. He made issues at the time for renouncing his American nationality, which would have exempt him from military duties.A rep for MC the Max stated, “All the members of MC the Max have now fulfilled their military duties. J. Yoon will be joining preparations for the band’s concert, which will take place at the end of the year.”
The members of MC the Max all enlisted in 2009, and were consequently all released this year. Lee Soo was released in August, while Jeon Min Hyuk was released in September.MC the Max will be holding a concert titled Just Sing in Seoul from December 29-31. As it is the band’s first concert in two years, MC the Max plans to look back on its 10 year career, including its days as the band Moon Child, and announce its future plans.
