Always need a physical keyboard

Post by Skeithex »

I used a kindle fire this past week and it's digital keyboard, and I must say I hope a physical keyboard is always kept around as the future comes.

I agree, a Physical keyboard is better for typing.

A digital onscreen keyboard is better for Tablets where people mostly use tablet to use apps, play Touchscreen games, movies, books, and non-keyboard intensive tasks, and a digital keyboard does not add any extra weight and thickness to the device.

Swype is a pretty good digital keyboard for typing on a screen, and it is fast as well.

A Capacitive Stylus pen could help you type better and faster on the Kindle Fire rather then using your finger.

I tried a pen that came with my 3DS and didn't seem to work.

You need a Capacitive Stylus which has a soft flexible rubber tip on the writing end to transfer your fingers static electricity to the screen. The 3DS uses the older style resistive stylus instead of the newer style capacitive Stylus for Capacitive touchscreen.
