Anyone here planning on getting the Ouya? I might depending how well it emulates past games.

I may get the Ouya to emulate games, play indie games, and use it to watch YouTube on my TV.

But, the Madcatz Mojo Android console also looks pretty good, and it would be release in a few months, so I probably wait till the Madcatz Mojo Console is release to see which is better.

I just really want a console that can play old games really well since it has a nice looking controller.

I read recently on tech blogs that Google will make an Official Google Android console, and Google Android already has a lot of emulators for different consoles in their official app store.

I wonder would a big name like Google make a lot of game makers start making games for Google's console like how almost every website, and app maker try to rank in the first page of Google's Search Engine, and App store charts and search for their apps.

great, that's all we need. Google making consoles. I doubt they gain much attention as they won't be making a power house.

I think if Google tried, they can make a popular Game Console. Microsoft made the Xbox in the 90s when there was Sega, Nintendo, and Sony, and now Xbox is a popular console in the US, and western countries.

With the negatives of the Xbox One like the Big size of the consoles, higher $499 price tag, Kinect Requirement, People may buy a Google Console over a Xbox One.

I think the Google console rumors gained attention from tech savvy people since the rumors were posted on social networks like Reddit, tech, gaming, and online blogs with a lot of readers. Google can also use YouTube, Google Ads, Google.com search engine, and Google Plus to advertise their console.

Google could make a Power House since they have the man power to make a Power House. Google also owns Motorola which makes Cable boxes, smartphones and tablets, so they can use Motorolla to make a power house game console.

Motorolla also teamed up with IBM, and Apple to make the PowerPC chips used in Apple computers, Wii, Wii U, and Xbox 360.

If Google makes a console, it may not be super fast, but good enough where gamers can play 3D games on it like the Wii, Ouya, Amazon Kindle Fire, and Apple iPads which can play 3D games, and have a lot of casual gamers.

If there are fun, free and cheap games, casual gamers, and poorer gamers may buy a Google branded console.

A $99-199 Game Console could get the attention of many people because of its price.

There is a limit how many consoles can be out and I believe google would be facing or hitting this limit.
