how old is your PC monitor? What kind is it?

I only had an old digital camera with one small dead pixel. I never had a monitor or TV with a dead pixel which is very visible.Skeithex wrote:I have a emachines monitor, pretty nice yet and still works. Thought for sure it break down by now or have a dead pixel.
it seems monitors at schools and work places seem to go dead pixel often. I think Tube monitors rarely suffer from bad pixels because it uses a electron gun to draw the image on the screen. I seen some very old tube TVs and monitors which still have good picture quality, and brightness.
I agree monitors at schools and work have more dead pixels. I also think it is caused by people pressing hard on the screen.Skeithex wrote:
