So on my month old windows ten high powered gaming laptop, if I have any kind of media player (on a tab like youtube or on the desktop like windows media player), things tend to glitch, stutter or lag if I do anything in the browser like loading a new webpage.
Anyone know what could be causing it?
Audio stuttering?

Re: Audio stuttering?
You may need to update the sound driver software to fix the problem if there is an update for your sound driver, or it could be a software problem related to Windows 10 or the software you are using like Firefox or a music player.
High CPU and RAM usage can sometimes make audio stutter sometimes.

Re: Audio stuttering?
CPU and RAM have been low since most of the time I only have a browser, media player, and the usual AV stuff going.
I had to use a 3rd party app, but I'm getting all my drivers updated now. hopefully that will fix the issue.

I don't really like Realtek audio. I have to use an older driver because the newer driver does not support my 5.1 surround sound speakers.Skeithex wrote:seems the realtek HD audio has caused lots of people issues.
