BoA's "My Name" - first video of MTV K

BoA's "My Name" was the first music video that was shown in MTV K, a division of Channel MTV which focuses on Korean music. A poll was created to ask whose music video the viewers would want to see first in MTV K. Rain, Se7en, SG Wanna Be were some of the candidates. MTV K's objective is to provide an outlet for Korean music to overseas Koreans and other viewers.

MTV Desi (India) and MTV Chi (China) were launched last year.

I just wished our "Music Bank" was a bit better...like the quality of the vids suck. -__-'

^ I dont like most of the vids on music bank, too. I dont know most of the artist in the mv, and some of them arent that good. Plus, i think the new host is sort of boring and annoying, and i dont like her tone when she talks to the viewers. It sounds fake like she pretending to have a good time hosting the show, but actually very bored like ppl who pretend to be happy when their sad.

There used to be a korean lifestyle show hosted by two girls on ch 8 which is "CH M" on 5pm on saturday with okay music videos, plus, it teaches people how to make handcrafted stuff, cook food, and girls make up, but its canceled now and replace with a korean magazine show thats boring what a shame.

either way the multi cutural channels here suck.

i would watch Channel M for the Chinese movies. I remember they have Driving miss wealthy on and i missed it because i was at work rawr. >__>"
