Re: Free AV
I think free antivirus do not work as good, but they are good for basic tasks where security may not be super important like more security concerned users who run a home business, big business, and a police station where a data leak can cause the whole business to go bankrupt from lawsuits, and bad news.

Re: Free AV
any reason you think they don't work as good? I think they aren't made to be more better running like the paid ones.

Re: Free AV
Some free AV comes with missing features like malware scanning.

Re: Free AV
Free ones as I've noticed are more resource heavy and can contain ads.
