Lightning storms hits teen while listening to ipod.

Jason bunch who is 17 had his ipod struck by ligntning while he mowed the lawn. The lightning first struck his earbuds then travelled to his ipod lacated in his hip.The ipod blew up and the earbuds melted. He was in intensive care in the hosptical and was sent home this week. He was listening to matallica mp3s.

I wonder did the metal back of the ipod had anything to do with geting struck by lightning because metal cunducts electrictiy, but im glad to hear he didn't die and he is recovering at home.

maybe next time he will be wise enough to use a player from a company that isn't as moronic and generically useless at hardware

well doesn't rubber damnit i forgot that word.. electricity? and since i don't an ipod, i'm assuming that the headphones had a rubber covering?

^yup, ipod earbudss do have rubber or plastic. His earbuds melted in his ear. ouch that got to hurt.
