I feel it may take many years or never for a better web surfing programs to replace the web browser which is the best program for going on websites without mobile apps.

I'm betting on it taking some years. Though AI may make everything unneeded to tech support.

I think more people may rely on tech support videos and eBooks for tech support information instead of going on a website to look for help with theiir tech problems.

I doubt they go back to books, online websites makes troubleshooting so easier I hate to think of it back during the old days.

I think eBooks/electronic books do have their advantages like being readable when your internet connection is broken or very slow.

Some offer download options, but not all books work on that and offline modes can be limiting.

I remember that some textbooks include a PDF file stored on a CD disc which can be useful if you lose the book or your book breaks because someone or an animal like a dog broke your book.

It is unfortunate that there isn't a law which prevent electronic book makers from making online-only eBooks likesome games and software which require the internet to check if the software is not pirated/stolen.
